ARLINGTON, Va. – Americans for Prosperity applauded today’s Senate confirmation of Neomi Rao to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
AFP President Tim Phillips issued the following statement:
“We commend the Senate for confirming Neomi Rao – a distinguished individual who has a deep understanding of the proper role of the courts and won’t legislate from the bench. We thank the senators who supported her confirmation and call upon the Senate to continue filling outstanding judicial vacancies with individuals who will defend the Constitution and reject judicial activism.”
