New Ads to Congress: When You Vote for Bidenomics, American Families Suffer

Arlington, VA – Americans for Prosperity today launched a new round of ads calling out House and Senate lawmakers who backed Bidenomics and highlighting how their vote for Bidenomics is costing Americans more. The ads target Joe Biden’s allies in Congress whose record created 40-year high inflation and higher prices.

The ads launching on digital and connected TV across 5 key Senate states, 26 key Congressional districts, and Washington, D.C. will spotlight how Bidenomics is failing American families. Americans need an extra $11,400 today just to afford the basics and more than 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

AFP Vice President of Government Affairs Akash Chougule said:

“Families are feeling the pain of Bidenomics, but President Biden’s allies in Congress are ‘proud’ of their spending record that has ignited higher prices and economic pain. Their vote for Bidenomics is costing Americans more. This summer, our grassroots network will be crisscrossing the country to call out the steep costs of these policies in the states and districts where lawmakers played a key role advancing the Bidenomics agenda. When Congress votes for Bidenomics, American families suffer.”

In March, AFP launched a sustained eight-figure campaign to tell Joe Biden and his allies in Congress we’ve had enough of Bidenomics. AFP also launched Bidenomics.com – the website Joe Biden doesn’t want you to see – as a real-time resource for fact checks of Biden’s latest misleading rhetoric on the economy.

As the President and his allies continue to tout his costly economic agenda, AFP’s Bidenomics Buses will travel to cities across the country to hear from Americans who are experiencing the pain of President Biden’s economic policies. The campaign will include digital and mail outreach, door knocking, and phone calls to hold key lawmakers accountable and provide Americans with the truth.

AFP’s new round of ads will run in the states and districts of 31 Members of Congress: Sens. Jon Tester (D-MT), Jacky Rosen (D-NV),  Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Bob Casey (D-PA) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI); and Reps. Mary Peltola (AK-AL), Greg Stanton (AZ-04), Josh Harder (CA-09), Mike Levin (CA-49), Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), Jahana Hayes (CT-05), Darren Soto (FL-09), Eric Sorenson (IL-17), Frank Mrvan (IN-01), Sharice Davids (KS-03), Jared Golden (ME-02), Elissa Slotkin (MI-07), Don Davis (NC-01), Chris Pappas (NH-01), Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), Gabe Vasquez (NM-02), Susie Lee (NV-03), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Pat Ryan (NY-18), Greg Landsman (OH-01), Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Emilia Sykes (OH-13), Susan Wild (PA-07), Matt Cartwright (PA-08), Chris Deluzio (PA-17), and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03).
