Anchorage, AK – Today, Americans for Prosperity—Alaska (AFP-AK) welcomed Brett Huber as its new state director. Huber will draw on his 30 years of Alaskan public policy experience to help AFP-AK articulate its vision for Alaska.
“As someone who has spent my life devoted to freedom and prosperity in Alaska, I’m honored to lead our state chapter of Americans for Prosperity and work alongside Alaskan lawmakers, policy experts, and citizens who care deeply about our state’s future,” said Huber. “Across our beautiful state, we value hard work, independence, and community. Together, we will focus on policies that help our families and businesses thrive, grow our economy, and ensure Alaska is a great place to live, work, and raise a family.”
Prior to joining AFP-AK, Huber served as chief of staff to multiple State Senate leaders and as campaign manager for Governor Dunleavy’s successful 2018 gubernatorial bid. He has also held key roles in the Governor’s administration, including Senior Policy Advisor and Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, and brings additional perspective from his work in the private sector as a small business owner and nonprofit leader.
