CHASKA, MN – In case you missed it, Americans for Prosperity-Minnesota (AFP-MN) State Director Jake Coleman hit the airwaves in Minnesota on Wednesday to set the record straight on Governor Tim Walz’s time in office after the vice-presidential debate on Tuesday night.
Coleman joined Jon Justice on “Twin Cities News Talk,” where he noted that while Walz had done a “victory lap” across the state on his accomplishments last summer, he toned-down his “progressive pipe dream” for the state while speaking to a national audience.
Walz “got absolutely frazzled because he does not like being held accountable,” Coleman said. “He did almost everything the progressives asked, and ran away from it because he knows it won’t fly for the rest of the country.”
Later on Wednesday, Coleman went on KNSI-AM’s “Hot Talk With the Ox,” where he told host Dan Ochsner that “it was good that the rest of the country could see what we’ve been dealing with here in Minnesota.”
AFP-MN, the state’s premier grassroots organization with a presence in communities across the state, has seen firsthand how Walz’s policies have made life more difficult for Minnesota businesses – from mom-and-pop shops to fortune 500 companies. That’s why Coleman told Ochsner that he was surprised at Walz namedropping famous Minnesota-based companies during the debate.
“What he didn’t mention is that these companies have all threatened to leave,” Coleman said. “They’ve adjusted their business operations because of the hostile business environment.”
