Americans for Prosperity Applauds Governor Sununu’s Support for Occupational Licensure Reform in 2018

Jan 9, 2018 by AFP

CONCORD, N.H. – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) applauded Governor Sununu’s support for occupational licensure reform in his proposed 2018 legislative agenda.  In particular, AFP-NH noted his support for bills (HB 1685 and SB 462) that will remove barriers to entering the over 200 licensed professions that represent nearly one-sixth of the state’s workforce.

“Governor Sununu is on the right track for opening up the workforce for many individuals,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director.  “Transformative occupational licensure reform will give opportunity to hundreds of thousands of New Hampshire residents to pursue their dreams in the career of their choice, by lessening regulatory barriers and eliminating unnecessary obstacles.  We applaud his support in this important effort to expand opportunity across the Granite State.”
