AFP Continues to Expand Footprint in North Dakota

Oct 9, 2019 by AFP

Fargo, ND—Americans for Prosperity-North Dakota (AFP-ND) today announced the hiring of North Dakota activist Cale Dunwoody to the role of Grassroots Engagement Director. This announcement comes just one month after AFP-ND brought on well-known activist Sierra Heitkamp to the team. Cale will join Sierra in focusing on building relationships within the community to help more North Dakotans rise to their potential.

Since its inception, AFP-ND has worked across party lines to educate North Dakotans and pass meaningful policy reforms. The continued expansion of the North Dakota team comes in response to a successful 2019 legislative session. Now, the state team will focus on long-term planning efforts gearing up for 2021’s legislative session and building broad-based coalitions to enact positive policy changes.

AFP-ND State Director Mike Fedorchak issued the following statement:

“We’re excited to see the Americans for Prosperity footprint continue to expand in North Dakota with our latest hire—Cale Dunwoody. Our team is equipped now more than ever to mobilize the grassroots and work alongside stakeholders to break down barriers. AFP-ND’s latest additions bring energy, enthusiasm, and new perspectives that will surely lead to our ability to do great things for North Dakota.”

Background:

Cale Dunwoody is a life-long native of Fargo, North Dakota and a long-time activist with AFP-ND. A graduate of Fargo South High School, Cale is enrolled at North Dakota State University where he is pursuing a dual bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and political science and an advanced master’s in criminal justice.

In September, AFP-ND announced the hiring of Grassroots Engagement Director Sierra Heitkamp: AFP Hires Heitkamp
