Price controls are failing. We need a better way.

Government price controls mean fewer new breakthrough cures for patients and their families, less research on new cancer treatments, and hundreds of millions of lives cut short.

Lawmakers in Washington are reportedly making progress on a deal to impose price controls on pharmaceutical drugs, a scheme that would have disastrous consequences for cancer patients and their loved ones.

The new campaign comes as Congress prepares to revive drug price control provision included in last year’s failed “Build Back Better” plan.

Putting Washington in charge of drug prices would stifle innovation and lead to fewer life-saving cures.

“America – we lead the world in access to new drugs and cures for cancer, AIDS and COVID. But some in Washington would put that at risk with a 95 percent drug tax and a loss of control over the medicines you need.”
