Sen. Blackburn and Knox County Mayor Jacobs Weigh In on School Choice in New Statewide Ad
NASHVILLE, TN – Today, Americans for Prosperity – Tennessee (AFP-TN) announced their launch of a statewide school choice ad campaign featuring Senator Marsha Blackburn and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs. The ad will run on radio stations across the state leading up to an expected Special Session at the end of January when lawmakers are expected to cast their votes on Governor Lee’s school choice bill.

“Tennessee is blessed to have conservative lawmakers like Senator Blackburn and Mayor Jacobs helping us lead the charge for school choice,” said AFP-TN Deputy State Director Michael Lotfi. “We’re feeling extremely optimistic about the upcoming session. We expect to see Republican lawmakers stand with conservative leaders across the state who are calling for an end to government bureaucrats telling parents how and what to teach their children.”
