Secure Borders. Secure America. AFP Launches Seven-Figure Campaign to Inform Voters on Border Security and hold Congress Accountable

May 15, 2024 by AFP

Arlington, VA – Today, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) launched its digital ads campaign “Secure Borders, Secure America,” calling on Congress to end the Biden border crisis.

AFP is investing seven figures in this campaign. During the next three months, a series of 30-second ads featuring retired Chief Border Patrol Agent Chris Clem, who advises AFP on border security, will be targeting the States of Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Florida, Colorado and Arizona.

“The failure of Biden and his allies in Congress to secure the border has led to this historic crisis. Without border security, every town becomes a border town, every state becomes a border state. Through this campaign, AFP aims to challenge this administration and Congress to act. Under Joe Biden we are facing the worst border crisis in the history of our country.  A secure border is essential not only for national security and upholding the rule of law, but to safeguard the rights of American citizens.

“AFP has been consistently calling for more border agents, more walls, and more surveillance technology all along our southern border.

“President Biden took office with a flawed immigration system and made it even worse. There is absolute chaos at the southern border with over 8 million illegal crossings into the country since he took office. Instead of taking responsibility, he is blaming everyone but himself”, said Miranda Melvin, Federal Strategies Director for AFP.

In parallel with the launch of the new ads, AFP is launching its new webpage, Secure Borders, Secure America, which will share information and upcoming initiatives addressing border security and immigration reform.
