On IRA Anniversary, Does Rosen Stand by Her Vote?
LAS VEGAS, NV – Ahead of the August 16 anniversary of the passage of the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, Americans for Prosperity-Nevada (AFP-Nevada) is reminding Nevadans that the historic inflation they’ve experienced in recent years is a product of the failed leadership of senators like Jacky Rosen.
Inflation has been unusually high since the Biden-Harris administration took office due to reckless spending, and there is no doubt that the trillion-dollar IRA did nothing to reduce it. In fact, increased inflation has cost the average Nevada household more than $32,000 since January 2021.
Senator Rosen was the deciding vote on many of these disastrous “Bidenomics” policies that have contributed to the pain Americans are experiencing as the cost of living has skyrocketed under his watch. Rosen has claimed she “proudly helped pass” the Inflation Reduction Act. Does Rosen still stand by her vote?
AFP-Nevada State Director Ronnie Najarro released the following statement:
“Throughout her time in the Senate, Jacky Rosen has time and again sided with party leaders over Nevadans on economic issues. The fact is, that the so-called Inflation Reduction Act didn’t decrease inflation. Instead, it’s hitting Nevadans hard and costing us more than $1,175 more per month than before the Biden-Harris administration.
“Nevadans deserve to know if Rosen still backs the Inflation Reduction Act or if she regrets ushering in policies that have hurt Nevada.”
