AFP President Tim Phillips will join event highlighting the negative impact of Biden “infrastructure” proposal on small businesses and family farms
DANVILLE, KY — On Tuesday, July 20, Americans for Prosperity – Kentucky (AFP-KY) will host an event highlighting the negative impact of President Biden’s $4 trillion “infrastructure” proposal on small businesses and family farms. The event is part of AFP’s robust, seven-figure “Stop the Spending Spree” campaign and will feature AFP President Tim Phillips.
AFP-KY State Director Michael Conway released the following statement:
“The Biden administration’s so-called ‘infrastructure’ proposal spends less than 5% on roads and bridges and 95% on Washington special interests, and dramatically increases taxes on families looking to pass their farm or small business to their children. This event is just the beginning of the activation of our grassroots efforts across the Bluegrass State to oppose the President’s out-of-control $4 trillion spending plan. We must urge DC lawmakers to put a stop to this bad proposal that will only make the American Dream less attainable for hardworking families.”
The event is part of AFP’s extensive national campaign titled “End Washington Waste,” which connects Americans across the country to the harms of, and better alternatives to, Washington’s “infrastructure” proposal. The group seeks to highlight concerned citizens’ opposition to the President’s plan, leading to trillions in wasteful spending and higher taxes.
