MEDIA ADVISORY: AFP Hosts Don’t Bust the Filibuster Forum

MANCHESTER, NH – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) announced it is hosting an event on the filibuster tomorrow at 6:30 at Murphy’s Taproom.

Following calls from Senate Democrat leadership to end the filibuster, panelists will discuss why ending the filibuster will lead to more power to pass one-sided legislation through Congress that would otherwise fail and open a Pandora’s box of sweeping changes to our institutions. AFP-NH recently announced a robust ad campaign urging Senator Maggie Hassan to uphold her commitment from 2017 to oppose efforts to eliminate the filibuster
