CHARLESTON, WV – Americans for Prosperity-West Virginia (AFP-WV) yesterday hosted an online discussion with House Majority Leader Amy Summers on the response to COVID-19.
As both a policymaker and a health professional who is on the front lines of this public health crisis, Delegate Summers shares her insights on COVID, including how cumbersome regulations and red tape are making it more difficult for health care professionals to address this pandemic.
Americans for Prosperity has been at the forefront of presenting policy solutions to help increase access to critical health care services. The grassroots group has called for suspending the state’s certificate of need laws, among other regulatory reforms that will help ensure our most vulnerable populations have access to the health care they need.
