CANTON, GA – Last Friday, Americans for Prosperity – Georgia (AFP-GA) dropped the price of gas at Shell gas station in Canton to $2.38, the national average price per gallon in January 2021.

During this event, AFP-GA spoke with Canton area residents about the impact that entrenched high inflation has on everyday life.

AFP-GA Deputy State Director Tony West released the following statement following the Canton gas station price drop event:

“After over two and a half years of President Biden’s wasteful and reckless spending, it is clear  that high inflation is still impacting Americans’ pocketbooks all across the country. Having the opportunity to provide relief to Georgians here in our community and hearing directly from them illustrates how the Biden Administration’s out-of-touch policies continue to cause economic hardship.

“AFP-GA remains dedicated to creating solutions that empower all Georgians to make prosperity possible and enable each individual to reignite their American Dream.”
