Brown Can Run from the DNC But Can’t Hide His Progressive Agenda
Columbus, OH – As the Democratic National Convention is underway, Sherrod Brown is opting to sit out in an attempt to distance himself from his disastrous voting record. However, while he instead makes stops in Youngstown, Cleveland, Toledo, and Sandusky, he can’t hide from the fact that he fully supported the progressive agenda that’s caused a cost-of-living crisis for Ohioans.
Donovan O’Neil, Americans for Prosperity-Ohio (AFP-OH) State Director, released the following statement:
“Sherrod Brown is skipping the DNC this week, and one thing is clear: he may be hiding from the DNC, but he can’t hide his voting record from Ohioans.
“Even if he attempts to distance himself from his Democrat colleagues, the record shows that he voted in lockstep with the disastrous Biden-Harris agenda. He fully owns the pain Ohioans are experiencing in the form of more expensive gas, groceries, and an overall higher cost of living, and he needs to be held accountable for it.
“AFP-OH continues to fight to relieve crushing food and gas costs for the Buckeye state and is dedicated to helping Ohioans see Brown for who he really is – a Washington insider who will always side with his party over Ohio.”
