Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin Responds to Brewers Bailout Bill
MADISON, WI. – Upon announcement of the $700 million bill funding renovations and maintenance at American Family Field, AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak made the following statement:
“This bailout is a swing and a miss. With most of the funding footed by taxpayers, Wisconsinites are unfairly on the hook for this one-sided sweetheart deal through 2050.
“Bottom line: this proposal is bad public policy and Wisconsinites overwhelmingly oppose it. It’s time for lawmakers to step up to the plate and strike out the bail out once and for all.”
