Americans for Prosperity-Virginia Applauds Speaker Scott’s Call for Tax Cuts
RICHMOND, VA – Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) applauds Speaker Scott’s recent remarks acknowledging the need for tax relief.
AFP-VA State Director Tim Parrish released the following statement:
“The Democrat Speaker calling for tax cuts was not on my bingo card. But this is the type of bi-partisan leadership Virginia needs right now, and AFP-VA applauds his remarks acknowledging the need for tax relief.
“Over the past 10 years, AFP-VA has worked to achieve billions in bi-partisan tax relief for Virginians. We applaud Gov. Youngkin’s long held commitment on this issue, and Speaker Scott deserves credit for his willingness to relieve Virginia of the tax burdens on their back from both the Commonwealth and local governments.”
