Americans for Prosperity – Tennessee Celebrates Major Transparency Win in the House Rules Package

Nashville, TN – Today, the Tennessee House adopted a rules package with a major transparency win. The rules package included an amendment requiring House committee votes to be recorded, significantly increasing transparency in the legislative process. Americans for Prosperity – Tennessee (AFP-TN) celebrates this victory, having led the charge for this reform since 2020. This marks a momentous start to the legislative session, as increasing House transparency is one of AFP-TN’s top legislative priorities released in the ‘Volunteer Way’  legislative agenda.

AFP-TN State Director Tori Venable released the following statement:
