Americans for Prosperity – Pennsylvania Calls Out Senator Bob Casey and Representatives for Backing “Bidenomics”

May 9, 2024 by AFP

HARRISBURG, PA – Today, Americans for Prosperity – Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) launched a new ad calling out Senator Bob Casey for backing “Bidenomics”. The new spots emphasize how much “Bidenomics” is costing Americans.

AFP-PA is also running ads in targeted House districts against Susan Wild (PA-07), Matt Cartwright (PA-08), Chris Deluzio (PA-17).

The digital and TV ads are part of a larger campaign running in 5 key Senate states, 26 key Congressional districts, and Washington, D.C. spotlighting the failure of President Biden’s economic agenda – Americans need an extra $11,400 just to afford the standard of living they enjoyed when President Biden first took office. Additionally, more than 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

Watch the 15 second ad against Senator Casey here and the 30 second ad here.

AFP-PA State Director Ashley Klingensmith released the following statement:

“Pennsylvanians just can’t afford to keep paying more and getting less. With summer just around the corner, families are canceling vacations, cutting back on activities, and looking for ways to make their dollar go further because of the reckless spending that Senator Casey and other members of the Pennsylvania delegation voted for at our expense. Unfortunately, families across the Keystone State are the ones paying the price.”

In March, AFP launched a sustained eight-figure campaign to tell Joe Biden and his allies in Congress we’ve had enough of “Bidenomics.” AFP also launched – the website Joe Biden doesn’t want you to see – as a real-time resource for fact checks of Biden’s latest misleading rhetoric on the economy.

As President Biden and his allies continue to tout his costly economic agenda, AFP’s “Bidenomics” Buses will travel to cities across the country to hear from Americans who are experiencing the pain of President Biden’s economic policies. The campaign will include digital and mail outreach, door knocking, and phone calls to hold key lawmakers accountable and provide Americans with the truth.

AFP’s new round of ads will run in the states and districts of 31 Members of Congress: Sens. Jon Tester (D-MT), Jacky Rosen (D-NV),  Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Bob Casey (D-PA) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI); and Reps. Mary Peltola (AK-AL), Greg Stanton (AZ-04), Josh Harder (CA-09), Mike Levin (CA-49), Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), Jahana Hayes (CT-05), Darren Soto (FL-09), Eric Sorenson (IL-17), Frank Mrvan (IN-01), Sharice Davids (KS-03), Jared Golden (ME-02), Elissa Slotkin (MI-07), Don Davis (NC-01), Chris Pappas (NH-01), Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), Gabe Vasquez (NM-02), Susie Lee (NV-03), Steven Horsford (NV-04), Pat Ryan (NY-18), Greg Landsman (OH-01), Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), Emilia Sykes (OH-13), and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03).

AFP remains committed to stopping the failed policies of “Bidenomics” and offering a better vision for America’s future. To learn more, visit
