Americans for Prosperity – Mississippi Issues Statement on the Start of the 2024 Regular Session of the Mississippi Legislature

JACKSON, MS – Today, as the Mississippi Legislature convenes for the 2024 Regular Session, Americans for Prosperity – Mississippi (AFP-MS) is calling on lawmakers to consider and pass legislation that will foster economic growth, enhance educational freedom, and reduce harmful bureaucratic barriers such as Certificate of Need laws.

AFP-MS State Director Starla Brown released the following statement:

“Undoubtedly, 2024 will be a pivotal year for both the country and our state. We are excited to see how our state legislature will tackle important policy challenges in order to enable Mississippians to reignite their American dream.

“Throughout this session, AFP-MS and our grassroots activists will be on the frontlines encouraging our state legislators to pass legislation that addresses issues like education and health care reform in the Magnolia State.”
