Americans for Prosperity – Mississippi Issues Statement on National School Choice Week
JACKSON, MS — As National School Choice Week begins, Americans for Prosperity – Mississippi (AFP-MS) is celebrating the accomplishments made across the country for education reform and calling on the Mississippi Legislature to enhance educational freedom in the Magnolia State.
AFP-MS State Director Starla Brown released the following statement:
“As we kick off National School Choice Week and recognize the various education reforms made around the country, we believe there is more to be done in our own state. We urge our legislators to join other states and pass meaningful education legislation like Education Savings Accounts and open enrollment.
“Over the next four months, AFP-MS grassroots activists will be engaging in communities, hosting events, and contacting elected officials urging them to prioritize education policies that will benefit every student in our state.”
