Americans for Prosperity – Michigan Announces Final Slate of Endorsed Candidates Ahead of General Election

Lansing, MI  – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Michigan (AFP-MI) announced the endorsement of two final candidates for the Michigan State House of Representatives ahead of the general election on November 5th.

AFP-MI will support Jennifer Wortz (HD-55) and Jason Woolford (HD-50) in their bids to represent Michiganders in the State House. These principled candidates earned AFP-MI’s endorsement for being principled policy champions on key issues like economic opportunity and supporting workers’ freedoms.

AFP-MI State Director Tim Golding made the following statement:

“We are proud to endorse Jennifer Wortz and Jason Woolford in their races to represent Michiganders in the State House of Representatives. As we continue to work hard to rebuild a policy majority in the State House, these candidates will be key players in representing the best interests of Michiganders.

“AFP-MI is excited to put our full support and world-class grassroots capabilities behind Wortz and Woolford to ensure these candidates are elected in November and have the chance to deliver real change for the hardworking people of our Great Lake State.”

 Endorsed Candidates:

Jennifer Wortz (HD-35)

Wortz is positioned to be a key partner on expanding education opportunity. As a former high school teacher, she strongly supports parental rights and choice in learning. She is a staunch free speech advocate and will play a critical role in increasing government transparency.

Jason Woolford (HD-50)

Woolford will be a strong partner on economic opportunity. He supports measures to reduce government spending, lower income taxes, and implement sound fiscal policy. He will work closely with lawmakers to support what’s best for hardworking Michiganders.
