Americans for Prosperity Expands Grassroots Network with 37th State Chapter in Idaho

Arlington, VA — Americans for Prosperity (AFP) announced the launch of its Idaho chapter, marking the organization’s 37th state with a brick-and-mortar presence and reinforcing its commitment to empowering citizens to shape the policies that impact their lives. While AFP is active in all 50 states, this expansion strengthens the grassroots-to-policy pipeline with on the ground resources that turns local voices into national momentum. By investing in local infrastructure, AFP is empowering voices across Idaho and the nation to engage in policy debates and lead solutions that advance economic freedom and individual liberty.

AFP President and Chief Executive Officer Emily Seidel said:

This move builds on AFP’s long-term strategy to connect bottom-up grassroots solutions with national impact. Over the past several decades, AFP has invested heavily in empowering Americans through nationwide grassroots campaigns. A few recent examples include:

  • Prosperity is Possible — Currently, AFP is unleashing America’s energy potential through an effort to roll back federal barriers on energy production and lower costs for families. AFP is amplifying grassroots voices through the “Road to Prosperity” multi-state tour, featuring visits to stalled or shelved energy project sites across key states and districts.
  • Protect Prosperity — Earlier this year, AFP mobilized activists in support of the Working Families Tax Cut Act, hosting more than 800 events and rallies nationwide, and meeting with Members of Congress to underscore the urgency to support the legislation.
  • “Bidenomics” — In 2024, AFP launched a campaign to define the true impact of Bidenomics and the economic pain facing Americans. AFP hosted hundreds of events throughout the country, including a multi-state Bidenomics bus tour at gas stations and grocery stores connecting Americans to the lawmakers who created the train wreck of Bidenomics and unleashed the higher prices on all Americans.
  • True Cost of Washington — In 2022, AFP launched a grassroots initiative that mobilized citizens to confront how federal policies were driving up household costs—and championed practical solutions to make life more affordable for Americans.

AFP Idaho State Director Jason Lehosit said:
