Americans for Prosperity – Colorado Calls Out Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo for Backing “Bidenomics”

May 10, 2024 by AFP

DENVER, CO – Today, Americans for Prosperity – Colorado (AFP-CO) launched a new set of digital and TV ads calling out Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo (CO-08) for backing “Bidenomics.” The new spot emphasizes how much “Bidenomics” is costing Americans.

The streaming ads are part of a larger campaign running in 5 key Senate states, 26 key Congressional districts, and Washington, D.C. spotlighting the failure of President Biden’s economic agenda – Americans need an extra $11,400 just to afford the standard of living they enjoyed when President Biden first took office. Additionally, more than 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

AFP-CO State Director Jesse Mallory released the following statement:

“Rep. Caraveo has sided with Joe Biden and his terrible ‘Bidenomics’ agenda, putting her party ahead of Colorado’s 8th congressional district. Coloradans are facing some of the highest inflation in the nation, and many are struggling to keep up with the rising costs of everyday items like gas and groceries.

“Rep. Caraveo should have to answer for why she supports ‘Bidenomics’ over Coloradans.”

Background

In March, AFP launched a sustained eight-figure campaign to tell Joe Biden and his allies in Congress we’ve had enough of “Bidenomics.” AFP also launched Bidenomics.com – the website Joe Biden doesn’t want you to see – as a real-time resource for fact checks of Biden’s latest misleading rhetoric on the economy.

As President Biden and his allies continue to tout his costly economic agenda, AFP’s “Bidenomics” Buses will travel to cities across the country to hear from Americans who are experiencing the pain of President Biden’s economic policies. The campaign will include digital and mail outreach, door knocking, and phone calls to hold key lawmakers accountable and provide Americans with the truth.

AFP’s new round of ads will run in the states and districts of 31 Members of Congress: Sens. Jon Tester (D-MT), Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Bob Casey (D-PA) and Tammy Baldwin (D-WI); and Reps. Mary Peltola (AK-AL), Greg Stanton (AZ-04), Josh Harder (CA-09), Mike Levin (CA-49), Jahana Hayes (CT-05), Darren Soto (FL-09), Eric Sorenson (IL-17), Frank Mrvan (IN-01), Sharice Davids (KS-03), Jared Golden (ME-02), Don Davis (NC-01), Chris Pappas (NH-01), Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), Gabe Vasquez (NM-02), Pat Ryan (NY-18), and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03).
