Nov 6, 2024 by AFP

CHEYENNE, WY – Americans for Prosperity-Wyoming (AFP-WY), the state’s premier grassroots organization, celebrated the victories of all 13 of its endorsed candidates for the state legislature today, after a record investment in statewide elections during the election season.

State Representative Jared Olsen won his race to represent Wyoming’s 8th Senate District, and Rob Geringer (HD-42) and Rep. Ocean Andrew (HD-46) won their House races, all after hard-fought campaigns.

AFP-WY supported another 10 candidates who won their elections unopposed, after winning in this year’s unusually competitive primary elections: state Sen. Ed Cooper (SD-20), Rep. Barry Crago (SD-22), Rep. JD Williams (HD-02), Rep. JT Larson (HD-17), Rep. Dalton Banks (HD-26), Rep. Martha Lawley (HD-27), Rep. Ken Clouston (HD-32), Cody Wylie (HD-39), Julie Jarvis (HD-57), and Daniel Singh (HD-61).

AFP-WY State Director, Tyler Lindholm, gave the following statement:

“Wyoming will now have its best state legislature in decades, thanks to Wyomingites electing these outstanding leaders. These victories were months in the making – our team of activists and volunteers have spent months cris-crossing the state, connecting voters to these candidates who will fight for education freedom, property tax cuts, and energy independence in office next year.

“Our team is already hard at work to help them deliver these policy wins and build Wyoming into the freest state in the Union.”
