Madison, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) congratulates endorsed candidates on their successful campaigns to serve in the Wisconsin state legislature.
Incumbent Sen. Rob Stafsholt (SD-10) won election to the State Senate. Rep. Joy Goeben (AD-05), Sen. Dan Knodl (AD-24), Rep. Shannon Zimmerman (AD-30), Rep. William Penterman (AD-38), Rep. Travis Tranel (AD-49), Rep. Nate Gustafson (AD-55), and Rep. Clint Moses (AD-92) won election to the state Assembly. In addition, AFP-WI endorsed non-incumbent Ben Franklin (AD-88) who is currently ahead, but race is too close to call.
AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak issued the following statement:
“AFP is proud to have supported these principled candidates in their fight to represent Wisconsin values in Madison. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our activists and volunteers, AFP played a key role in preserving a policy majority in Madison that will drive prosperity and expand opportunity for all Wisconsinites across the Badger State.
“As we look ahead to next legislative session, AFP is eager to work alongside these leaders to provide more freedom and prosperity in our state by cutting taxes, reining in spending, and lowering energy costs, ensuring that the American dream remains within reach for every Wisconsinite.”
