AFP-PA to Gov. Newsom: “We Need Solutions, Not ‘Bidenomics’”
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—Today California Governor Gavin Newsom visited Pittsburgh to shore up support for President Biden.
Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) Deputy State Director Emily Greene issued the following statement:
“The last thing the Keystone State needs is California Governor Gavin Newsom stumping for the President. President Biden frequently visits the Keystone State—but he and his surrogates fail to address our very real concerns. We need solutions, not ‘Bidenomics’. But Biden, Newsom, and our own Senator, Bob Casey insist on supporting inflationary spending policies and an anti-growth agenda.
“As bad as things are, they can get worse. As we head into 2025, Biden, Casey, and other leaders in Congress have put the nation on course to drive right over a fiscal cliff. As bad as inflation is, Americans could see their taxes increase too. It’s not too late to right the course, but Pennsylvanians have all but given up hope that Biden or Casey will do the right thing.”
