AFP-Nevada Celebrates Passage of Right-to-try Legislation
LAS VEGAS, NV — Following the passage of right-to-try legislation (SB 283) in the state, Americans for Prosperity-Nevada (AFP-NV) Deputy State Director Wiz Rouzard released the following statement:
“The passage of SB 283 provides hope to the countless Nevadans, and families, fighting rare, life-threatening illnesses,” said Rouzard. “With this legislation, Nevadans will have access, under their doctor’s supervision, to cutting-edge treatments before they receive the FDA’s official stamp of approval.
“Lawmakers from across the aisle, led by Assemblywoman Heidi Kasama, came together to get this bill across the finish line and provide a victory for Nevadans.
“We look forward to Governor Lombardo’s swift action to sign this bill into law.”
