AFP-Nebraska Celebrates Election Wins for Endorsed Candidates

Nov 6, 2024 by AFP

LINCOLN, NE – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) congratulates its three endorsed candidates for the Nebraska Legislature for winning their races.

State Senator Rob Dover (SD-19) won reelection, and Tony Sorrentino (SD-39) and Tanya Storer (SD-43) won open seats to serve in the Legislature next year.

AFP-NE’s army of grassroots activists and volunteers completed hundreds of thousands of voter contacts across the state during the election cycle in support of these candidates.

AFP-NE State Director, John Gage, gave the following statement:

“These results are a major victory not just for these three policy champions, but for hardworking Nebraskans who demand better representation in the state legislature.

“With Dover, Sorrentino and Storer all winning their races, it’s clear that the state is ready for more principled fiscal conservatives to lead in the Legislature. Nebraskans want principled tax reform with senators willing to cut wasteful government spending.

“Starting now, we’re getting to work on the biggest policy issues facing the state in the next term: cutting taxes, protecting school choice, and expanding health care affordability for every family in the Cornhusker State.”
