AFP-NE Announces Campaign Against Tax Shift Scheme
LINCOLN, NE – Today, Americans for Prosperity – Nebraska (AFP-NE) announced the start of a six-figure advertising campaign calling on lawmakers to focus on real tax reform and reject gimmicks to shift taxes.
The campaign will focus on mail, digital advertisements, and grassroots outreach in the coming months to spread awareness of a proposed measure in the state legislature that promises tax relief but instead will deliver the highest tax increase in state history.
AFP-NE state director John Gage released the following statement:
“Principled tax reform will not come from shifting taxes, which will result in the majority of Nebraskans receiving a higher tax bill. All Nebraskans deserve true tax reform that focuses on slowing the uncontrolled growth of government spending at all levels and encouraging economic growth and opportunity.”
