AFP-KY to Treasury Sec. Yellen: “Bidenomics is Broken,” Holding Event to Relieve Inflation

Mar 12, 2024 by AFP

Frankfort, KY—On March 13, Americans for Prosperity-Kentucky (AFP-KY) will be holding an event demonstrating that “Bidenomics is Broken” while Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen visits the Bluegrass State.

Activists from AFP-KY are pushing back against the administration’s claims that ‘Bidenomics’ has lowered costs for American families and will be providing $25 gift cards at Bub’s Cafe in support of relieving the cost of inflation.

Americans for Prosperity State Director Heather LeMire issued the following statement:

“Unfortunately, Secretary Yellen’s message is going to fall flat here in Kentucky. We heard the administration’s plans for more government spending, more taxes, and more regulations in the President’s State of the Union last week. But what Kentuckians already know is that ‘Bidenomics’ is broken.

“With inflation continuing to rise, Bidenomics has tightened the budget of nearly every hard-working Kentucky family. We’re asking Elizabethtown residents to come out, enjoy a gift card to a local spot, and share their stories about how Bidenomics is hurting their bottom lines.”

Join AFP-KY for this event. Media is welcome to attend.
