AFP-IN on Buttigieg Visit to Central Indiana: Hoosiers are Feeling the Impact of Inflation at the Pump
Indianapolis, IN – Today, as Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg visits Central Indiana, Americans for Prosperity-Indiana State Director Josh Webb issued the following statement:
“While Pete Buttigieg stops in Central Indiana to discuss the disastrous Biden-Harris agenda, he is ignoring Hoosiers who are standing at the gas pump and spending over a dollar more per gallon for gas than when Biden first took office.
“As he discusses this administration’s ‘clean energy’ policy, he is overlooking the fact that the Biden Administration has ratcheted up regulations that impose additional costs on nearly every part of the oil and gas supply chain instead of working to bring oil and gas prices down.
“The results of ‘Bidenomics’ are clear: record-high inflation is leaving folks worse off than they were four years ago. Indiana deserves better, starting with policy that will provide financial relief to ensure stability and economic freedom for all Hoosiers.”
