INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Americans for Prosperity-Indiana (AFP-IN) congratulated endorsed candidates on their successful runs to serve in the Indiana state legislature.
Incumbent State Senators Brian Buchanan (SD-07), Justin Busch (SD-16), Scott Baldwin (SD-20), Aaron Freeman (SD-32), and Cyndi Carrasco (SD-36) won reelection to the Indiana State Senate.
Incumbent State Representatives Dale DeVon (HD-05), Jake Teshka (HD-07), Kyle Pierce (HD-36), Gregory Steuerwald (HD-40), Joanna King (HD-49), Ben Smaltz (HD-52), Dave Hall (HD-62), Zach Payne (HD-66), and Martin Carbaugh (HD-81) won reelection to the Indiana House of Representatives. In addition, AFP-IN endorsed incumbent Becky Cash (HD-25) where she is currently leading, but the race is too close to call.
Non-incumbent Brett Clark won his race and will represent the 24th senate district next session, and non-incumbents Hunter Smith, Alaina Shonkwiler, and Tony Isa also won their races and will represent the 24th, 29th, and 51st house districts next session.
AFP-IN State Director Josh Webb issued the following statement after the races were called:

With these policy majorities, Indiana will continue to advance limited government solutions that empower Hoosiers and increase our state’s competitiveness throughout the Midwest.”
