Concord, NH – Americans for Prosperity – New Hampshire (AFP-NH) today announced its first slate of endorsements for Executive Council, State Senate, and State House of Representatives.
The following 13 candidates have earned AFP-NH’s support for their integrity and steadfast commitment to expanding freedom and opportunity for all Granite Staters. AFP-NH will mobilize its statewide network of grassroots activists behind these candidates and support them with door-to-door canvassing, digital ads and mail, so they can get to work upholding the principles and policies that make New Hampshire the freest state in the nation.
AFP Regional Director Greg Moore gave the following statement:
“As the freest state in the nation, our state legislature plays a crucial role in protecting and growing the New Hampshire Advantage and ensuring Granite Staters have the freedom and opportunity they need to achieve their American Dream and prosper.
“AFP-NH is proud to support these candidates because we believe they possess the vision, skills, and experience that make them the best representatives to advance pro-freedom policies and build our lead as the freest state. These candidates will expand opportunity and prosperity for all students, families, and workers in the Granite State. We are prepared to deploy our full grassroots capabilities to ensure these individuals represent “Live Free or Die” values in the state legislature next year.”

Executive Council:
John Stephen (ECD-4): John Stephen is a strong, fiscal conservative who promotes pro-growth tax policy and promises to remove overburdensome regulations. His current work, fixing broken state agencies across the country is a perfect fit for an office that is responsible for holding agencies accountable.
State Senate:
Emily Phillips (SD-23): House Assistant Majority Leader Emily Phillips is a proven leader on issues such as educational choice and workers’ freedom. She has been a key advocate for education freedom accounts and other policy reforms that would expand opportunity for all New Hampshire students. She is a champion of economic policy issues, including right-to-work legislation, and will play a crucial role in passing economic reforms that create opportunity for every Granite Stater.
State House:
Brian Labrie (Hillsborough-02): Brian Labrie is a strong policy partner of AFP-NH and is aligned on many issues including educational opportunity, economic growth, and worker freedom. As a small business owner, he understands how burdensome regulations negatively affect business and stunt economic growth. He will be a crucial addition to the state assembly and assist with passing better policies and cutting regulations to expand opportunity and prosperity across the Granite State.
Danielle Evansic (Hillsborough-02): Danielle Evansic is a math and science teacher with a passion for educational opportunity. She will play a critical role in advancing education freedom, including education freedom accounts, for every student in the Granite State. She is a strong conservative voice who will advocate for pro-growth policies and create economic opportunity that benefits New Hampshire’s businesses, workers, and families.
State Rep. Joe Alexander (Hillsborough-29): State Rep. Joe Alexander is a housing, tax and free speech champion. He’s cosponsored a constitutional amendment to guard against unnecessary tax increases, and successfully advanced legislation to protect free speech on all New Hampshire public colleges and universities.
State Rep. Mike Drago (Rockingham-04): State Rep. Mike Drago is a proven partner of AFP-NH policy initiatives including education freedom, economic opportunity, and worker freedom. As a stay-at-home homeschooling parent, he understands that every child should have the freedom to an education that suits them. He is a fiscal conservative that champions right-to-work policies and economic opportunity, and passionate about making New Hampshire the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Cindy Bennett (Rockingham-04): Cindy Bennett is a homeschooling mom of thirteen who is passionate about reigniting the American dream. As a current school board member and teacher, Bennett advocates for education opportunity and promises to support efforts on expanding freedom for families and students. She will play a crucial role in supporting pro-freedom policies when it comes to education, the economy, and workers’ rights and will help keep New Hampshire the freest state in the country.
Brian Nadeau (Rockingham-04): Brian Nadeau is passionate about creating a prosperous future for the children of the Granite State and is a strong supporter of pro-freedom policies on education, economy, and workers’ rights. He will play a crucial role in advocating for education freedom accounts, right-to-work legislation, and a consistent voice on spending cuts, lower taxes, and rightsizing regulations.
State Rep. Josh Yokela (Rockingham-07): State. Rep. Josh Yokela is a proven policy leader and partner on pro-freedom legislation on education, tech, labor, and housing issues. He was a crucial part in efforts to expand education opportunity through the state assembly and a champion of housing and occupational licensing reforms. He will continue to be a leading voice on issues that create freedom and prosperity for the Granite State.
Speaker Sherm Packard (Rockingham-16): Speaker of the House Sherm Packard is a trusted partner on the issues that make the Granite State the freest in the nation. He is a strong partner on education freedom, the prime sponsor of the AFP-NH-backed education freedom accounts and remains a consistent voice for children and families. He has shown exemplary leadership and ability to bring people together to support policies that prioritize prosperity.
State Rep. Ron Dunn (Rockingham-16): State Rep. Ron Dunn is a critical member of the state assembly and strong supporter of key issues such as energy independence, economic growth, education opportunity, and worker freedom. He has supported education freedom accounts and right-to-work policies that would make students and workers better off. He is a key ally in promoting pro-freedom policies and working to make the Granite State the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Matt Sabourin (Rockingham-30): Matt Sabourin is a promising leader on important issues such as worker freedom and education opportunity.
