Americans for Prosperity Launches Seven-Figure Ad Campaign and Grassroots Push to Extend Trump Tax Cuts, Saving Pennsylvanians Thousands
HARRISBURG, PA – Today, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is launching a seven-figure ad and grassroots campaign highlighting what will be a Tax Day nightmare next year for working families across Pennsylvania if Congress fails to renew the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA). This critical legislation has provided essential tax relief to families and small businesses nationwide and is overwhelmingly supported by hardworking Americans.

AFP-PA State Director Emily Greene released the following statement:
“After four years of struggling under Bidenomics, the last thing Pennsylvanians need right now is another tax hike. We urge our members of Congress to renew the TCJA so that next year’s Tax Day doesn’t hurt even worse.
“AFP-PA is committed to reminding taxpayers that lawmakers like Representative Chris Deluzio are standing in the way of extending the Trump tax cuts for Pennsylvanians. If he’s successful, the average hardworking Pennsylvania family will face a $2,394 tax hike.
“The 2017 Trump tax cuts were the most pro-growth tax reform efforts in American history, and AFP was proud to work alongside President Trump and leaders in Congress to give hardworking Americans much needed relief.”
In addition to digital and radio ads, AFP-PA will be hosting roundtable events with Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation to underscore the urgency to act.
This campaign is a continuation of AFP’s $20 million commitment made in January – the largest investment of any outside limited-government conservative organization in support of a key pillar of President Trump’s agenda. In 2023 and 2024, AFP and AFP Action reached out to nearly 30 million voters.
