MY ONE SMALL STEP
I’ve seen the power of grassroots in action.
As a 22-year-old and a recent college graduate, I had the opportunity to work on Capitol Hill and learn about the greatest challenges facing our country. And for more than a decade, I saw the power of grassroots in action firsthand.
From answering constituent calls to working directly with key lawmakers, I learned that the real power isn’t in the halls of Congress — the real power is in the hands of the people.
That’s when I joined Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s most powerful grassroots organization, with boots on the ground in all 50 states.
At AFP, we know that by elevating the voices of millions of Americans, we have the power to create positive change. And that starts with just one small step — contacting your lawmaker, knocking on a door, attending a rally, or even just talking with your neighbors.
From everyday Americans elevating their voices and organizing in their communities.
To entrepreneurs willing to take risks to push us forward.
To a new generation of innovators reaching for horizons we can’t yet imagine.
