RICHMOND, Va. – Following the Governor signing AFP-backed telemedicine legislation into law, Americans for Prosperity-Virginia issued the following statement:

“Telemedicine allows people to access health care services and clinical information remotely through their smartphone, smartwatch, computer, or wearable device. This is a game changer for Virginians – especially those in rural parts of the Commonwealth – who will now be able to work with health care providers from the comfort of their home,” said AFP-VA State Director JC Hernandez. “We’re glad telemedicine is now a reality in the Commonwealth and look forward to more opportunities to work with the legislature and the Governor to capitalize on innovations in health care and further expand access to lifesaving products and services for every Virginian.”
