Grassroots group presents its 2019 legislative policy agenda
ST. PAUL, MN – Americans for Prosperity-Minnesota (AFP-MN), the state’s leading free-market grassroots organization, will release its updated “Roadmap to Prosperity” at its session preview event this evening. The event will feature a conversation with Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka and House Deputy Minority Leader Anne Neu.
The Roadmap to Prosperity, a comprehensive policy agenda, was launched last year as a guide for lawmakers to help restore fiscal stability, ignite the Minnesota economy, focus on sound investment for our future, help expand the American Dream for future generations, and protect taxpayers from out of control spending and over-regulation.
“We are committed to breaking down barriers for all Minnesotans so that everyone can achieve their version of the American dream. The Roadmap to Prosperity gives a path forward for our state and gives lawmakers a framework to help increase opportunity for Minnesotans,” said Jason Flohrs, AFP-MN State Director. “We will educate Minnesotans about the policies that are being discussed in St. Paul and will mobilize our grassroots activists to hold lawmakers accountable for their votes on the principles outlined in our Roadmap. There’s a lot of work to be done to ensure all Minnesotans can achieve their full potential and we will work with anyone to help make Minnesota the best state to live, work, and raise a family.”
