Americans for Prosperity Ramps Up Infrastructure Push Ahead of House Spending Spree Vote

Aug 18, 2021 by AFP

PHOENIX, AZ – Americans for Prosperity-Arizona (AFP-AZ) is ramping up its ongoing campaign encouraging U.S. Representative Tom O’Halleran to oppose the Biden-Sanders “infrastructure” proposals as House lawmakers prepare to return to Washington to vote on the budget resolution and kick off reconciliation negotiations.

The new push, which are part of the grassroots group’s seven-figure “End Washington Waste: Stop the Spending Spree” mobilization campaign, includes a new wave of radio ads and direct mail to supplement the work of AFP’s activists.

AFP-AZ State Director Stephen Shadegg issued the following statement:

“Lifting the veil off the so-called ‘infrastructure’ proposals, Arizonans will find trillions of dollars in deficit spending, harmful tax hikes, ineffective energy mandates, and a government takeover of health care. Rep. O’Halleran needs to listen to his constituents and push for needed regulatory reforms that actually address infrastructure needs instead of supporting partisan policies that punish Arizona families with harmful tax hikes while undermining innovation and economic growth.”
