Americans for Prosperity – Montana Launches Digital Campaign Urging Senator Tester to Support Judge Kavanaugh’s Nomination

BOZEMAN, MT – Americans for Prosperity announced a six-figure direct mail and digital ad campaign as part of the organization’s multimillion-dollar effort to support Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court. Part of the campaign includes digital ads in Montana that highlight Judge Kavanaugh’s demonstrated commitment to interpreting the Constitution as written and not legislating from the bench. The ads also ask Montanans to contact Senator Tester and urge him to support Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Americans for Prosperity – Montana State Director, David Herbst issued the following statement:

“Montanans want Supreme Court Justices who will interpret our laws, not make them. Judge Kavanaugh is an exceptionally qualified jurist whose record indicates he will not legislate from the bench. Senator Tester should put politics aside and vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh – a highly qualified judge for our nation’s highest court.”

A new website, UniteForKavanaugh.com, was also unveiled today.

Americans for Prosperity has committed seven figures to paid advertising and grassroots engagement in support of Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Door and phone scripts have already been deployed to each of the 36 AFP state chapters. AFP will host events, tele-townhalls, and Facebook Live conversations with key lawmakers about the proper role of courts, and the importance of confirming judges who interpret the law as written.
