AFP Virginia Urges Governor to Enact Telemedicine Expansion to Benefit Residents

Mar 17, 2020 by AFP

Richmond, Va. – Americans for Prosperity-Virginia today issued the following statement urging Governor Northam to enact telemedicine expansion legislation for the benefit of Virginia residents.

“Both everyday applications and emergency cases such as these underscore how important telemedicine expansion is and why we continue to push forward on the issue,” said AFP-VA State Director JC Hernandez. “New innovations paired with common-sense legislation remove barriers to help address public health emergencies when it matters most. HB 1332 would help providers to better meet the needs of their patients — at times of greatest need, and any other time. We thank Delegate Kilgore, our coalition partners and state Legislators who continue to fight for the health care solutions the Commonwealth needs and we urge Governor Northam to sign this bill into law for the benefit of all Virginians.”
