AFP-Virginia Responds to Gov. Northam’s Order to Shut Down All Non-Essential Businesses

Mar 24, 2020 by AFP

Richmond, VA – Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) released the following statement in response to Governor Ralph Northam’s statewide closure of non-essential businesses.

“Broad business closures across the Commonwealth are not in the best interest of our residents,” said State Director JC Hernandez. “Governor Northam should allow businesses to continue to adapt and innovate in these difficult circumstances to produce the goods and services Virginians need. The Governor can allow entrepreneurs to provide value to their communities while continuing to take the necessary steps to protect the public.”
