NASHVILLE, TN – Americans for Prosperity-Tennessee (AFP-TN) today announced its 2021 legislative agenda. The grassroots group will look to build on the policy successes of last year’s legislative session and special session.

AFP-TN State Director Tori Venable issued the following statement:
“2020 demonstrated that when government gets out of the way, Tennesseans can meet and overcome any challenge. Yet, too many barriers still remain in the way of people achieving the American dream – from our criminal justice system to our one-size-fits-all education system.
“We will focus our efforts to keep advancing criminal justice reforms that make our communities safer and save taxpayer dollars, ensure every student can access an education that meets their needs, remove government health care regulations that prevent people from accessing quality care, and continue fighting for lower tax burdens and responsible government spending. There are a lot of opportunities for lawmakers to increase opportunity and freedom for every Tennessean, and we are ready to work with anyone to achieve that.”
