AFP-PA Congratulates Judge David Porter on Confirmation

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) on Friday congratulated David Porter on his confirmation to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. The grassroots group had advocated for Porter’s swift confirmation since the Pennsylvanian’s nomination in April. The Senate voted to confirm David Porter by a vote of 50-45.

AFP-PA State Director Beth Anne Mumford issued the following statement:

“Congratulations to Judge David Porter. We were proud to support Porter’s confirmation because he’s a Pennsylvanian with sterling credentials who will interpret the Constitution as written and won’t legislate from the bench. We thank our activists for their hard work and look forward to future opportunities to mobilize our grassroots teams and confirm fair, experienced judicial nominees.”
