AFP-NH Congratulates Bill Boyd on Special Election Win

Apr 13, 2021 by AFP

CONCORD, NH – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) tonight congratulated Bill Boyd for his hard-fought victory to replace the late Speaker Dick Hinch’s seat in the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

The grassroots group endorsed Boyd due to his fiscal leadership and commitment to be a good steward of taxpayer dollars. AFP-NH made over 10,000 voter contacts through phone banking, direct mail, and digital advertisements.

Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director, issued the following statement:

“We commend Bill Boyd for winning this hard-fought special election. Merrimack residents saw how his agenda of keeping more money in families’ pockets, ensuring the government stays within its means, and giving workers more power to control their paychecks will strengthen our New Hampshire Advantage. Boyd has big shoes to fill from the late Speaker, but the House could not have asked for a more principled leader to continue Speaker Hinch’s work of advancing economic opportunity for every Granite Stater.”

Background:

Boyd’s deep understating and experience with balancing budgets and reducing unnecessary spending will ensure taxpayers have a watchdog in Concord.

21 state legislative and Executive Council candidates AFP-NH endorsed last year won their races in the November elections. AFP-NH also endorsed Governor Chris Sununu last year in his successful bid to serve another term as governor. The grassroots group contacted over 500,000 Granite Staters in support of Governor Sununu through a combination of mail, digital, door-door, phone banking, and text messaging efforts.
