AUSTIN, TX – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Texas (AFP-TX) announced the passing of its deputy state director in Texas, Raul Espinoza. The chapter remembers him as a faithful friend, dedicated leader, and patriot.
Sam Sheetz, AFP-TX deputy state director, shared the following statement:
“It is with an incredibly heavy heart that AFP-TX shares the passing of our colleague, Raul Espinoza, following a car accident early Wednesday morning. Raul was a valued leader of team Texas and a member of our community for more than 10 years. The news came as a shock to all of us.
“Those who worked with Raul knew him as someone with a huge heart; a person who showed genuine kindness and care for everyone around him. Our team and his countless friends knew his warmth, curiosity, and commitment to his faith and principles that came through in every interaction. He will be deeply missed by AFP-TX.
“Raul leaves behind his wife and young family. Our prayers are with them during this incredibly difficult time.”
