AFP-NH Responds to Gov. Ayotte’s State of the State Address

Concord, NH – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) today responded to Governor Ayotte following her State of the State Address.

AFP-NH Deputy State Director, Sarah Scott, released the following statement:

“Since taking office last year, Governor Ayotte has delivered on several promises to the Granite State, from advancing housing reforms and improving public safety to creating a balanced budget that protects services while keeping spending in check. She also held firm against new taxes, rejecting mandates and reducing regulations to keep the New Hampshire Advantage. But there is still much to be done to accelerate New Hampshire forward and make it a national leader.

“During her address, the Governor laid out her priorities for 2026, specifically her focus on the next generation of nuclear power in New Hampshire. This initiative will be influential to the state’s long-term energy strategy and its ability to deliver reliable, affordable energy to Granite Staters.

“AFP-NH looks forward to collaborating on policies that will move the Granite State towards greater opportunity and long-term prosperity.”
