Key Vote Alert: Vote YES on H.J. Res. 88
Dear Senator,
On behalf of millions of Americans for Prosperity activists in all 50 states, I urge you to support H.J. Res. 88, Providing congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to “California State Motor Vehicle and Engine Pollution Control Standards; Advanced Clean Cars II; Waiver of Preemption; Notice of Decision” on final passage.
A ‘YES’ vote will prevent the forced electrification (EV mandate) of the American consumer automotive marketplace and preserve consumer choice in vehicles. If left in place, the State of California will, alongside a compact of states, forcibly eliminate the internal combustion engine by 2035. A ‘YES’ vote also means you reject one-size-fits-all government mandates that will wreak havoc on families, businesses, and our economy.
When considered in the House of Representatives, H.J. Res. 88 passed in bipartisan fashion with 35 Democratic Members supporting the Congressional Review Act legislation on final passage.
For these reasons, we ask that you vote ‘YES’ on H.J. Res. 88.
