Americans for Prosperity Foundation is proud to offer our selection of reports on issues critical to understanding government policies effecting the state and the effects these policies have on the economy. These studies are the product of extensive research by some of the best minds in the field of government policy.
Americans for Prosperity has directed a study of the state's pension system vis-a-vis bill SCR-1, a proposed amendment to the state constitution. SCR-1 proposes fully funding the state's pension obligations after 7 years, increasing the state's payments by 1/7th each year.
Americans for Prosperity believes this bill, if enacted, would put the state is financial peril.
