Lawmakers in Washington are reportedly making progress on a deal to impose price controls on pharmaceutical drugs, a scheme that would have disastrous consequences for cancer patients and their loved ones.

Government price controls mean a future with as many as 342 fewer new cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s, and other leading diseases

The new campaign comes as Congress prepares to revive drug price control provision included in last year’s failed “Build Back Better” plan.
